Magnolia partnered with katto to create a digital experience reflecting the warmth, elegance, and emotional quality of their floral practice. The challenge was creating a platform capable of balancing commerce with storytelling and atmosphere. The project combined e-commerce design, identity refinement, and editorial systems into an experience built around beauty and human connection.

Flowers often exist around meaningful moments—celebrations, gestures, memory, and ritual. Research focused on understanding how digital experiences can communicate emotional value rather than product categories alone. This shifted direction toward storytelling rather than conventional retail.

The visual system combines delicate typography, restrained color palettes, and spacious layouts. The goal was creating warmth without relying on visual excess. The result feels refined and welcoming.

Ordering systems, delivery scheduling, and seasonal collections were integrated into a simplified experience designed around ease and clarity. Interactions remain lightweight and intuitive. The process feels effortless.

Editorial sections introduce collaborators, florists, and behind-the-scenes perspectives. The platform becomes more personal and emotionally connected. This creates stronger relationships with audiences.

The final platform transforms Magnolia from an online flower shop into a broader brand experience. The result reflects the same care and intentionality found in every arrangement.
